So we get into talking the design ideas behind the game, the joy of starting and finishing a passion project regardless of quality, learning from mistakes, Final Fantasy MIDIs, and the state of the internet in the mid-90s (shoutouts to FFGaming, TW's long-dead Final Fantasy fansite with information that was just straight-up incorrect). Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, originally released in Japan as Akumaj Dracula X: Chi no Rondo, is a platform-adventure video game developed by Konami for the PC Engines Super CD-ROMĀ² System directed by Toru Hagihara. This week, Alex Zandra, aka Zandravandra, joins TW on the show to talk about the very first games she made as a teenager in the 90s, The Quantum Blade 1 and 2! These games were featured in Kusogrande 6, but they were very much worth talking about more because they are an absolute CELEBRATION of mid-90s indie games. Going on this rating, it seems that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Rond of Blood are coming to the Former room 13.
